And considering what I've heard and seen there he has every reason to smile. I´ve known Nic for longer than I dare to admit, since the good old times of the Hifishow at the Penta/Ramada in London-Heathrow. I've been a fan of the Trilogy tube sound since then: juicy, plummy, and yet transparent and appealing even to the most inveterate resolution freak.
Nic is still a tube fan but now he uses tubes where tubes are due, and transistors where they are most effective. But like any good Chef he hasn't lost his hand even after 8 years in the power conditioning business.
